Air New Zealand exploite un service direct saisonnier de Christchurch à Rarotonga du 26 mai à octobre 2026, jusqu'à trois fois par semaine. Les vols sont opérés les mardis, jeudis et samedis.

De juin à octobre, Air New Zealand opère des vols offrant une connexion le jour même au départ de Sydney, Brisbane et Melbourne. Jeles vols tstar partent d'Auckland en milieu d'après-midi, permettant une correspondance le jour même depuis certaines villes australiennes. Les vols d'Auckland à Rarotonga durent un peu moins de 4 heures.
Profitez d'une connexion en douceur entre Honolulu et Rarotonga avec un vol hebdomadaire pratique opéré conjointement par Hawaiian Airlines et Alaska Airlines. Grâce à leur vaste réseau combiné, vous pouvez facilement vous connecter à cette route du Pacifique Sud depuis de nombreuses passerelles à travers l'Uniétats-unis. Actuellement, le vol part d'Honolulu le samedi à 16h00 (arrivée à 22h15 le même jour), et revient de Rarotonga le dimanche à 13h00 (arrivée à 19h15 le même jour). Remarque : à partir du 24 avril 2026, ce service passera en permanence d'un jour à l'autre, au départ d'Honolulu le vendredi et au retour de Rarotonga le samedi aux mêmes heures.

Air Rarotonga operates the Wednesday and Sunday services, while Air Tahiti operates the Thursday and Saturday services. Flight time is approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Arriving in Rarotonga

After landing, present your passport, arrival card, proof of accommodation, and proof of return flight.
Your airport transfer awaits at their designated collection desk. Car hire is available right at Arrivals from Polynesian Rentals and Avis, alongside an ATM and the Vodafone Cook Islands shop for Visitor SIM cards.
Flying straight out to Aitutaki? Domestic Departures is just a 1 minute walk down the corridor from Arrivals (after exiting customs).
Entry Requirements to Consider
- A valid passport is required, and must be valid for 6 months beyond your date of departure from the Cook Islands (common airline requirement)
- A Visitor Permit is granted on arrival, with New Zealand passport holders receiving 90 days, all other passports up to 31 days
- Show your proof of departure from the Cook Islands and proof of accommodation on the islands
